Since December 1, 2020, Hasselt University has access to the so-called 'Freedom Collection eBooks' from Elsevier, including backlist. The deal includes almost all monographs within all subject areas on the Elsevier platform (almost 20.000 ebooks). You can consult and download these ebooks without restrictions. The 'reference works' and the 'book series' are, however, not part of our subscription.

Use the A-to-Z list of e-books to search ebooks by title, or use the discovery service (the central search interface on the homepage of the library website) to do a full-text search.
On-campus everyone has access to these ebooks. By using the tools above, or by using the links on the library website, also off-campus access is offered. Staff members can also connect via VPN.
