Jurisquare

Jurisquare is a database which contains law journals and law books of different publishers (Anthemis, Bruylant, Die Keure, Intersentia, Larcier, INNI, etc.). It allows you to consult the journals and books by both keyword search and full-text search.
Click on Library - My library to get an overview of the subscriptions and holdings of Hasselt University (cf. more than 1350 e-books and about 50 e-journals).

Rechtstreeks.be

Rechtstreeks.be is an open access archive of legal books and journals. You will find legal "classics" such as De Page, Dekkers, Fredericq, Kluyskens...But also Van Gerven, Derine, Ronse, Delva.... And even Cornelis, Stijns, Vansweevelt, Velaers... The legal journals are situated between 1945 and 2000 and sometimes a bit later, from the era when Jura, Stradalex and Jurisquare did not yet exist.

ScienceDirect Freedom Collection e-Books

Elsevier provides access to a very wide collection of e-books. UHasselt has access to the so-called 'Freedom Collection e-Books', including backlist. These are almost all monographs within all subject areas (almost 20.000 e-books); the 'reference works' and the 'book series' are, however, not part of our subscription.

Springer e-Books

Springer provides access to a very wide collection of e-books. UHasselt has access to all English and International Springer eBooks published in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021. Only the 'major reference works' are excluded from our license. In total, we have unlimited access to almost 35.000 titles within all possible subject areas.

SpringerLink Lecture Notes in Computer Science (1973-2006)

Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) is a volume series which publishes workshop and conference proceedings as well as monographs in computer science and its subfields. It includes its subseries Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence (LNAI) and Lecture Notes in Bioinformatics (LNBI).
Attention: Hasselt University has access until copyright year 2006 (= more or less 4350 e-books).

Strada lex is a legal database (from Larcier) with references and full texts of legislation, jurisprudence, doctrine, models and news about legislation. You have full-text access to more than 2.700 e-books and about 100 e-journals.

Strada lex Europe

Strada lex Europe constitutes a comprehensive documentary package with regard to European law. It assembles and organises, in a single website, all significant pieces of legislation, jurisprudence and doctrine, classified by large branches of European law, i.e. nearly a million documentary references in French and in English. The various contents are permanently updated.

The reviews and monographs from several publishers, as well as the main official public sources, are available.

Strada lex Europe covers the European legal order, the European institutional framework, European litigation, all the European domestic policies, European foreign policies and the European civil service.
