Dalloz-bibliotheque.fr

Dalloz-Bibliotheque.fr is a French (language) legal database of digital works in private and public law. It offers online access to more than 2500 digital works from the major Dalloz collections in their latest edition: Dalloz codes, university textbooks (Précis, Cours, HyperCours, Lexiques…), revision works (Mementos, Aide-Mémoire…) or professional works (Dalloz Action, Encyclopédie Delmas…).

To start your search, click on “connexion” in the upper right corner. Once on the Dalloz Library platform, click on “Consulter l’ouvrage” at the top right of the page to access the full text of the books. The consultation is done by browsing and all the books are printable and downloadable.

At the start of their first academic year law faculty students will receive a visitors card for the Maastricht University Library as well as an UM-account to get access to their electronic sources, even from home. The UM-card and the UM-account remain valid as long as these students are connected to Hasselt University.
More information about the UM-card can be found on https://www.maastrichtuniversity.nl/nl/file/3484/download?token=QMtrRyRl (pdf). In case of problems with your UM-account, it is best to contact the ICTS-servicedesk of Maastricht University (Servicedesk-ICTS@maastrichtuniversity.nl or 0031 (0)43 388 5555). In order to reset your UM-account, you will need to add a copy of your identity card.

Dalloz.fr

Dalloz.fr is a French (language) full text database of codes, legal journals, encyclopedias, legal commentaries and cases (all courts). The database is specialized in French administrative law, civil law, labor law, real estate law, criminal law and business law. UM library does not subscribe to Répertoire de droit communautaire and Répertoire de droit international.

Gallica - Droit

Gallica is the digital library of the Bibliothèque nationale de France and some other partners. The website gives free access to more than 3.606.562 digitized manuscripts, cartularies, books, journals, music scores, maps, videos, photographs, miniatures and sound recordings.

Legifrance

Legifrance is the French government entity responsible for publishing legal texts online. 
It provides access, in French, to laws and decrees published in the Journal officiel, important court rulings, collective labour agreements, standards issued by European institutions, and international treaties and agreements to which France is a party.

Lexis 360

This database offers access to French legislation, French case law decisions and French jurisprudence (among others: +60 JurisClasseur encyclopaedias, +35 legal journals, +50 Codes, etc.).

Attention!
Please note that access to this resource is dual authenticated. You must be on the IP range of Hasselt University (so work off campus through VPN or via the proxy-link on the library website) AND you need a personal username and password, which you create yourself. 
     
Instructions to create a personal username and password:
- On the Lexis 360 homepage, click on the button "Se connecter".
- On the right side of the page under "Première visite?", click on the button "Créer votre compte".
- Follow the instructions to create your personal username and password. NB: when asked to input your email address, this MUST be your UHasselt email address.
- On second and subsequent visits, simply input your username and password.
